The Good Ol' Gaze
Yesterday morning on Howard, they were talking about some "healer" named Braco who heals people by gazing at them. For $8, you can go to one of his healing sessions and feel his power as he gazes across the room. It came up because Robin had actually gone to one of his sessions (she didn't have to pay the $8) to see what it was all about.
In interviews with some of his followers, they have described feeling an energy and heat when they came upon his gaze. And, some have had their back and neck pains go away. One guy even had his toothache go away with a "poof". And, get this! He now heals people using Skype and video streaming through his website.
So, you're probably asking yourself, "Why is Antonio posting this?" Well, I've decided to get in on the gig and do a little healing of my own. And, I'm going to undercut the competition by charging only $5.

More Access
I mentioned in a previous post about my new addiction to cable access. Well, I recently came across a show that left me speechless. Let me introduce you to Eye On Entertainment. The show features this model/actress named Dawna Lee Heising who wears tons of makeup and looks like she's had way to much work done on her face. So much so that I don't think she can actually smile.
I've said enough. Check it out for yourself.

Birthday Week in Review
I thought I'd blog about the great week I had this past week.
Tuesday: I got to participate in a focus group about nutrition labeling in restaurant menus and fast food menu boards. Now, I could care less about nutrition facts at a restaurant. If I'm going out to eat, I'm not really think about that. Although, I do think it's a good idea. I just wouldn't pay attention to it. BTW, did I mention that they payed me cash?! $75! Woohoo!
Wednesday: The lovely Miss Monica invited me to her company's Christmas dinner. Free Food! Can't beat that. It was at some restaurant in Rockville called Timpano. It was tasty. And, did I mention it was free?! $0! Woohoo!
Thursday: Some weeks ago, I won three tickets in the White House Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Lottery. So, Joey, Missy, and I Metro'd over. Now, even though I had standing room and could only see part of the stage, and despite the cold temps., a good time was had by all. Oh! Did I mention that I got to see President Obama! Of course, he was about an inch tall from my vantage point. $Priceless! Woohoo!
Friday: For my birthday, Andi and I went to the DC Improv to see Adam Ferrara. Folks, that man is funny. I'd never seen his stand up before, but I'm a fan of him on the TV show Rescue Me. And, he was nice enough to take a picture with me after the show. Later we went over to the ellipse to see the tree because Andi had never done the whole White House Tree thing before. $20! Woohoo!
Saturday: My mom took me out for a birthday lunch. Then, later that evening, I had a movie night with some friends. You see, a small of group of my friends and I have a movie group where we get together occasionally at each other's houses to watch movies. This time it was at my house, which meant that I got to choose the menu. I decided on breakfast. So, I, along with Andi, whipped up some Belgian waffles and made to order omelets. Then we enjoyed the movie "Holiday Inn". $Priceless! Woohoo!
And on the seventh day, I rested. . . Actually, I guess it was the sixth day of my Birthday Week O' Fun. Although, I didn't quite rest since I had to work.
So, I just want to say thanks to all my friends who helped make it a fun week. . . And now, back to the normal day to day again. . . woohoo. . .

I Sing Because I'm Happy
I did something Saturday that I haven't done in a long time. . . NOOOOOOOO, not that. I went to a bar. At this bar, I did something I haven't done in an even longer time, I did karaoke.
Andi and I happened to catch a couple of movies that day. With no evening plans, she suggested going to a bar she knew of that did karaoke. At first I was going to say no. You see, in the past, when I've gone to karaoke with friends, it's been at bars that didn't necessarily cater to the music that I know most, having grown up a black kid (imagine that) listening to mostly soul and R&B music. She pointed out that this bar had a huge catalogue. So, I figured, why not? Folks, we knocked'em dead.
Since we were the only ones singing duets, and since we are both singers, they loved us. Especially, when we hit the harmonies. The host even chose us to be featured in their "Spotlight", where they choose the three best acts of the night to sing two songs in a row, followed by a question and answer session.
Now, I need you all's help. The one problem I had that night was that it took me forever to find something to sing, mostly because the catalogue was so big, I couldn't narrow my search. So, I need some suggestion on what I should sing next time. You all know my range. Also, give me some good duets to consider.

Dwellers, it was the most fun I'd had in a long time. Without going into detail, let me just say, it's been a rough year for me. I really needed that evening. White Mocha, your HBCM thanks you.

OMG! A New Post!
Well, I don't know if anyone still checks my blog anymore since I haven't posted anything in months. I apologize for that. I haven't really done much worth blogging about this year. Anyway, I came across a video that I thought was HIGHlarious. It's a Sesame Street spoof of the Old Spice commercials. Enjoy!
